*nhl debut worn
Born on August 8, 1995 in Magnitogorsk, Russia, Artyom Zagidulin was a solid up-and-coming goalie in the KHL when he was signed by the Calgary Flames in 2019. He played 30 games with Stockton in the AHL in 2019-20, recording a 16-7-4 record. In 2020-21, Zagidulin spent a short period of time in the KHL when he was loaned to Metallurg Magnitogorsk prior to the start of the NHL season. With the NHL returning to action for the season in early 2021 he returned to North America, and spent time in both the AHL and on the taxi squad with Calgary as the number 3A/B goalie. Zagidulin was recalled from the Taxi Squad on February 22, 2021 and dressed as the backup for the next two games...and then it happened. On February 25, 2021, David Rittich started the game against the Ottawa Senators and after allowing 4 goals on 20 shots, in went Zagidulin to make his NHL debut. Playing the final 28 minutes of the game, he stopped 9 of 11 shots in Calgary's 6-1 loss. Zagidulin backed up for two more games before spending the remainder of time on the Taxi Squad/AHL roster. He returned overseas in 2021-22 and he currently plays for Lukko in Finland's Liiga.
As his career is still ongoing and returning to the NHL is not completely out of the question, career stats will not be posted at this time.
