Mid 1990s new jersey devils / albany river rats Game Worn BROWN EXCEL Goalie Pads
Born in Poland on June 29, 1963, this goaltender was drafted by the Washington Capitals 91st overall in 1981. His name...Peter Sidorkiewicz. Drafted after a fine career in the OHL with the Oshawa Generals, Sidorkiewicz faield to make the Capitals' roster at any point early in his career. He was eventually traded to Hartford in 1985 and played three more seasons in the American Hockey League before being he finally got his chance at the big time, appearing in his first NHL game on October 16, 1987 against Clint Malarchuk and the Washington Capitals. Though he lost 6-2 and stopped 30 of 36 shots, it was a valuable lesson on the road to a decent NHL career. The following season, he assume the starting role on the team, coming out of nowhere to record 22 wins, and four shutouts in his first real season in the League. He played three additional seasons with the Whalers, never quite matching the numbers of his first year before he was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the 1992 Expansion Draft. There he played one season as the first started for the team appearing in 64 games and making the first All-Star appearance of both his career and of an Ottawa Senators player. The following season, the Devils acquired Sidorkiewicz. Largely staying in the minor leagues, he appeared in three games with the Devils in 1993-94. He then stayed in the Devils' organization for four additonal seasons, remaining largely in the minors until the final game of his career on December 30, 1997. After the 1997-98 season, Sidorkiewicz retired from play.
In his 246 game NHL career, he recorded a 79-128-27 record with eight shutouts, nine assists, a 3.60GAA and a 0.871% save average. In 15 career playoff games, he recorded a 5-10 record with a 3.62GAA and a 0.867% save average.
This here is a pair of photomatched New Jersey Devils / Albany River Rats game worn pads. The wear is substantial and clearly demonstrates use over multiple seasons. A huge makeshift repair is also visible on the front left pad's entire left ankle/shin area. Not to mention epic wear comprised of puck marks, chafe wear, and scratches adorn this great item!

Mid 1990s new jersey devils / ottawa senators / minor league Game Worn BRIAN'S Glove and cooper blocker set
This here is a New Jersey Devils era game worn glove that is photomatched to a wrinkle pattern on the cuff and mark on the "B" of the glove from a Devils photo. Very high odds he also wore the glove while with Albany. Another great piece of an oft-overlooked goaltender! The blocker is a highly photomatched Cooper blocker matched to Peter's time in Ottawa, New Jersey, and the Fort Wayne Komets (though very likely in Albany as well, but few photos exist from his time there).
This piece has substantial wear comprised of very notable puck marks, indentations, as well as a skate slice.

Mid 1990s Game Worn Chest Protectors
These chest protectors were used in his time spanning from the end of his Ottawa Senators era circa 1993 to the end of his time with the Devils' organization from 1993-98. Likely used more in the minor leagues with Albany or Fort Worth, these are great items nonetheless. Great wear, great marks match the colors of the teams he played on are all a testament to the game use of these items.
