SHORT BIO: Born on April 27, 1986 in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Matt Keetley was drafted 158th overall by the Calgary Flames in 2005. Keetley, a superstar WHL netminder, turned pro in 2007-08 and saw himself as a regular dressed backup with the Calgary Flames for much of the first two months of his pro career. His pro career lasted until 2011-12, seeing him play in the ECHL, AHL, and the NHL. Keetley's NHL debut came on November 5, 2007. Relieving Miikka Kiprusoff in goal for the final 9:22 vs Colorado, he stopped both shots that he faced as the Flames fell 4-1. His NHL experience took place exclusively in 2007-08, though he did get one additional NHL recall in March 2010.

In his NHL career, Keetley appeared in one NHL game and he recorded an 0-0-0 record with a 0.00GAA, and a 1.000% save average. He appeared in no NHL playoff games.

Among his career accolades include winning the WHL Championship (2004, 2007),  being named the WHL Playoffs MVP (2007), and being named the Memorial Cup's Most Outstanding Goaltender (2007).
