The theme of our exhibit was called "Riveting Records & Fantastic Facts".
We all know the major goaltending records in hockey history. The winningest goalie, the goalie with the most shutouts, the goalie with the most points, the first goalie goal in NHL history...yes, we have all heard those immortal and spectacular statistics countless times over. But hidden amongst those well-known records are a literal cornucopia of achievements, facts, records, and other strange coincidences that put many other goalies into the record books that are far less often quoted, yet no less interesting or impressive.
Heroes of the Crease: Goaltending Museum and Memorabilia Ltd. is proud to announce that our museum's exhibition theme for 2022's Sport Card Expo Edmonton is called: "Riveting Records & Fantastic Facts!" Our stunning memorabilia showcase will focus on unique records, brag-worthy accolades, and unbelievable coincidences that range from impressive, to unusual, to truly spellbinding! Featuring game worn items of legendary trophy winning and Hall of Fame goalies, to lesser known goalies, this amazing exhibition will be your chance to read about these stories of goaltending while no-more than an arms length away from the piece of hockey history looking right back at you.
